Thunderbolt have been racing since early 2017 and the core team is:
- Hugh Stodart
- Bern Dornom
- Josh Street
- Leo Theoharis
Prior to that Josh, Hugh and Bern raced as Adventure Junkies with Serge from AJ. We are a bunch of experienced racers who go out to have fun, hope we get through the race without suffering too much (especially those of us with ageing bodies) and see what results come.
2017 was quite a successful year for the team with wins in all the Australian A1 Series races and 2nd place in Expedition Africa.
Since then we have been doing our best to improve on a run of 2nd place finishes – without too much success. Perhaps this will be the year ……
